Üghett “Buy Me”? This is one of the songs that turns the most in the playlist of the beginning of the year 2020. On simple words, “over your being I have the power / you are beautiful”, the loop thus connects a succession of images of strong and beautiful women, in a tangy and colorful universe. Therefore the mix of “1950s” and “brothel” adds a layer of reading and interpretation. The electronic pop music blends thus perfectly with the lyrics sung by Diane and produces a bewitching effect.
Üghett, discovered by chance with the cover of Colette, “Les Nuits d’une Demoiselle”, immediately conquered Pauline. She fell in love with this trio of Diane, Goulwen and Harold. Trying to define Üghett? It’s a musical project with varied influences, navigating between electro and techno. A boosted trio that sings provocative and liberated texts in French.
Fresh and innovative, it will even lead to a great meeting at “We Loft Music” festival in 2020 in Roubaix. The group was thus able to exchange directly with Pauline, sharing their vision of music. Unfortunately this will be delayed due to the pandemic and lockdown…

The concept of #La1èreDoseEstGratuite allows director Pauline Bricout to present her work to different artists with whom she would like to collaborate. She therefore chooses each piece according to her musical affinity and imagines the universe for this one in particular and for this sample more precisely. The sample chosen is about 10 seconds long, so as not to interfere or take advantage of the piece, that it remains illustrative and not parasitic. Once the dose has been made, she contacts the artist or the label directly, either by email or via social networks.
