In the magical and enchanting world of Tapopow, you’ll find many animals. There’s Jones the cat who chases Santa Claus, Jones the seagull who’s friends with everyone and thinks he knows a lot of things, but not necessarily the truth, and the adorable hamsters and Elo the little deer lost and abandoned by Santa 🧑‍🎄 🎄

But in this enchanting world, the joyful and colorful fauna lives alongside a shimmering and vibrant flora. 🌸 🌺 ✴️ Today, we’re discovering Tapopow making music with mushrooms! Mushrooms can be found almost everywhere, often in the undergrowth and forests. They are eukaryotic organisms, generally unicellular or multicellular, belonging to the kingdom Fungi. They are distinguished from plants, animals, and bacteria by their unique biological characteristics. 🍄

Mushrooms appear as main or supporting characters in a few cartoons you might know:

  • Toad (Toadstool) in “Super Mario Bros.”: Toad is an iconic character from the “Super Mario Bros.” video game franchise created by Nintendo. Friend or foe of Mario, Luigi, Wario, and the others? 🎮
  • The Smurfs: The Smurfs live in a hidden village in the forest and use mushrooms as homes.
  • Mushrooms in “The Care Bears”: Colorful mushrooms called “Mushroom Bears,” friends of the Care Bears, appear. 🌈
  • Mushrooms in “The Adventures of Tintin”: In the episode “The Shooting Star,” Tintin discovers an underground civilization called the Mushrooms, fantastic creatures that play a crucial role in the story.

Mushroom in “The Snorks”: This character has a mushroom-shaped head and is one of the inhabitants of Snorkland.

In this episode, have fun learning colors with music, just like Tapopow does! Every time she touches a mushroom friend, it makes music with that color. Watch how the red Tapopow becomes “red,” the blue Tapopow sounds “blue,” and the yellow Tapopow makes a “yellow” sound… But what sound does the mushroom in the background make?? ❤️ 💙 💛
