Matmatah, the iconic French rock band from Brest, is known for its blend of Celtic influences and its energetic stage presence. For its latest album, the group returns to its roots with a project entirely dedicated to covers. Rather than revisiting its own repertoire, it has chosen songs from vastly different musical styles to reinterpret them.

The album features 20 tracks spanning several centuries, sung in 10 European languages, in an open and experimental approach. Enriched by various vocal and instrumental collaborations, this record pays homage to the cultural diversity of the continent. This unique project illustrates Matmatah’s desire to explore new musical territories while remaining true to its free spirit.
